Laminating

Laminating is at the core of our business. It is the foundation upon which we have built our portfolio of products and our excellent reputation within the industry.

We are the largest laminator of Gypsum products in the UK. We have an extensive range of vinyl faced coverings that can be laminated to a variety of substrate boards including plasterboard, hardboard, plywood and various other high-performance panels.

Laminated boards can be edge-trimmed and used in conjunction with a plastic jointing system to conceal any mechanical fixings. Alternatively, we can wrap the vinyl around the long edges of the board to create a clean joint with precise definition. 

Excel is a proud partner of Renolit  - a global leader in high-quality plastic films. We also offer creative applications from Muraspec and Tektura for a more bespoke finish. We stock all vinyl finishes commonly used in the offsite construction industry.
