Cotaplan have used CladEx panels to help achieve a Class-A energy rated building.
The impressive modular building is a Passivhaus design, double-storey structure. The recently completed building will house new training & children’s facilities at the Linden Lodge School in London. Cotaplan opted for Excel’s thermally-efficient CladEx panels to envelop the skirting and dormer sections of the building.
Michael Britner, Operations Manager at Cotaplan, has specified CladEx for numerous projects in the past so he knew it would be an ideal product for this Passivhaus project:
‘Using CladEx helps us to achieve a superior U-value for our buildings – something which was of paramount importance on this project. The CladEx was used to envelop SIP panels and achieved a neat, clean finish.’
We are proud to be able to supply Cotaplan with a thermally-efficient solution particularly for projects with such a strong environmentally-sustainable focus such as this one.
